This is too hilarious. If you don't think Seed would value bet a wide range of hands there like 77-JJ on that board, you're clearly a nit donk. Yes you're dealing with a rookie who has been playing semi professionally for the last 6 years at a constant tourney ROI of 85% on PS and FT, and a SnG roi of 25%. I've prob played literally 1000x more hands than you have. Just stop trying to argue, your poker knowledge is slim to none.

yep, value betting on the river on a paired flop with just 3 players is easy to read. bluffing would be out of the question. but still, a good enough fold since aces arent pretty bad. but the INSTANT laydown? that's experience right there

@mmdaniels First off your analysis of this hand is correct in the sense that its a scary looking flop and Chan probably put Huck on a jack.With that being said, just because of that flop and the checks is not a reason to fucking insta fold aces,I think you are underestimating the skill it took for Chan to make a good read on Huck there. You claim to be some poker prodigy but if u lay down pocket aces because of a flop like that, bunch of checks then a river bet, i welcome you at my table anyday

oo man lol it was a sick lay down, and how fast he did it was even better. but he has been playing the game for years and he analyzed it so fast, i prob wouldve sat there for a good 5 mins , and i still might have even called.. 50/50 chance, but i wouldve thrown out a tester bet on the turn to see where i was at. its just simple analzying , its not the checks dude! its the players that are checking! big diference.

Dude you don't even know what you're talking about. First of all, the value bet was pot-sized, it was designed to look like he was trying to buy the pot and get someone to call him with anything. Second, Seed is definitely capable of bluffing on the river on a scary board with no action, that's not a donk move. Third, This laydown is genius. You are clearly underestimating how good this laydown is. There was no bet. No information. He instafolded aces without losing a chip.

I said he bet the river to make it look like a bluff! But you're saying that you should never bet unless you have something, and never call unless you have something good, and leave the river as is. Are you serious? If no one tried anything creative, poker would be incredibly predictable and no fun at all. Huck made a good move, he just gave away a tell on the flop.

I think the best move Seed could do here, is to make a shy bet on the flop (1/3 of the pot, maybe 1/2 of the pot) Chan would've think about it, but would've call, then a check on the turn looking like he was trying to steal the pot...and a valuebet on the river
