Well..I wouldn't say physical tells mean absolutely nothing. However, for most professionals facing off against other pros they probably don't mean much. People aren't going to sit there and wait for your eye to twitch or you to swallow before calling you.

I agree. Maybe you can rely on tells against amature weak players, but these are professional players here. They are very good at masking their tells and also giving "mistells" as I call them.

Look up a video here called "Daniel Negreanu's pocket nines". Listen to his commentary. He specifically states that his opponent's uncomfortable body language directed his play. If you don't like Negreanu, that's fine; but you'd still acknowledge his professional status, wouldn't you? He's a pro that uses tells.
